The Upper Midwest Wheel

The newest wheel in the series, the Upper Midwest Local Foods Wheel illustrates what foods are available in the states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. This wheel shows that you can eat well by eating locally in the Upper Midwest—even in the winter! Cities such as Chicago, Minneapolis and St. Paul, Detroit, Milwaukee, Madison, Indianapolis, Des Moines—and all points in between—are richly supplied with local foods by the surrounding agricultural areas, many small lakes, and, of course, the Great Lakes.
